So after a few hiccups, the engine is running smoothly on the base power FC map. It was running on two cylinders. After a compression test, coilpack tests, injector tests everything was fine. It wasn’t until I thought “hmm what if it’s the coilpack ignitor?” Plugged in another one and it was running excellent.
Played around a little with the injector timing and the CAS timing and it’s now running nice and smooth, ready for a tune. On friday I had my hot side cooler pipe and turbo intake pipe fabbed up by someone that was recommended to me. Did an amazing job! The engine bay is now complete.
The oil leaks are now resolved and the engine was running at operating temp for about 15 mins with no coolant leaks. Very very happy. Below is pics and a video of mad fluttors.
Now we’re off for a tune, suspension setup, electrical issues sorted out and then Insurance and rego!
